Liz Martin Academy & Beauty Lounge is a hands-on training school for lash and brow professionals, located at 2408 E. Trinity Mills, Suite 126, Carrollton, TX 75006. We've been operating since 2020 and have certified 200+ graduates in lash lift, brow lamination, and classic lash extensions — the majority of whom work in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex today.
Our second business, the Beauty Lounge, operates from the same studio. We see clients for lash extensions, lash lifts, brow lamination, facials, and body-contouring services — which means our instructors aren't just teachers, they're working technicians who serve real clients every week. That feedback loop keeps our curriculum current with what actually works on real lashes, real brows, and real skin.
What we do
- Lash Lift & Brow Lamination Course — $1,099 · 1-day, 6-hour intensive. Chemistry, application, processing times, troubleshooting, aftercare. Professional starter kit included (supplies for ~15 client treatments). Certificate of completion issued.
- Classic Lash Extensions Course — $1,599 · 3-day intensive with live models. Isolation, mapping, adhesive selection, retention, client consultation.
- Custom Private Training — from $599/day · 1-on-1 sessions tailored to your existing skill level.

Why we built this academy
Most lash and brow training in the U.S. is online video courses or weekend bootcamps that send you home with a kit and a YouTube playlist. We disagreed with that model. Lash chemistry near the eye area is unforgiving — there's no way to learn the difference between properly processed lashes and over-processed ones from a screen. So in 2020 Liz Martin opened a small, hands-on academy where every student practices on live models with an instructor watching and correcting in real time. We cap each cohort at four students for that reason — beyond that, you can't give meaningful corrections during the narrow processing windows that lash chemistry actually allows.
The bilingual angle wasn't a marketing decision either. Carrollton and the broader DFW metroplex have a large Spanish-speaking professional community, and quality technical instruction in Spanish is rare. Our courses run in both English and Spanish, taught by the same bilingual instructors using the same curriculum — not a watered-down translation. Roughly a third of our graduates have taken the course in Spanish.
